Digital Technology Modern Apprenticeships
An apprenticeship in digital technology is a hands-on, work-based learning program where you earn while you learn—building real-world tech skills while working for an employer. In Scotland, these apprenticeships are part of the Modern Apprenticeship framework, typically at SCQF Level 6, and they’re designed to launch careers in the fast-growing digital sector.

Shape Scotland's Digital Tomorrow
Digital technology skills are crucial in Scotland because they drive economic growth, improve job prospects, and support education. They help close the digital divide, making society more inclusive, and are key to Scotland’s recovery and future ambitions—like becoming a global digital leader and achieving net zero goals. Whether in rural areas or major cities, digital skills empower people and industries to thrive in a fast-changing world.
To help organisations strengthen their digital capabilities, we offer a broad selection of fully funded apprenticeships covering every area of digital technology. These opportunities are available to employees of all ages, whether they’re new to the company or already part of the team.
