Louise Mellor is a Senior Administration Assistant in the Infrastructure Service at Shetland Islands Council. Since January 2024, she has been working towards her SCQF Level 8 qualification in Business and Administration with Highland Learning Academy and already seeing the impact in her work and career confidence.

With over 20 years of experience working within Shetland Islands Council, Louise saw this qualification as a chance to both formalise her knowledge and open new career opportunities within the organisation.
